This is the top that we made for Malibu Boats. It attaches directly to the tower via four mirror-polished CNC machined billet aluminum clamps. We designed it to stow along the rear hoop of the tower when it’s not in use, so that it doesn’t have to be removed to collapse the tower. Its traditional under-the-tower design provides superior shade to an over-the-top bimini in the mornings and afternoons. (Imagine holding your baseball cap a foot above your head. It would work the same at noon, but it wouldn’t offer much shade when the sun isn’t directly overhead.) We worked closely with Malibu engineers to develop this top, and it strikes a near perfect balance between shade, headroom, and ease of use – we’ve sold thousands of these tops. Lead-time to ship is approximately four weeks from order date, and they’re available in most all Sunbrella colors.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Jet Black is the standard color, but most Sunbrella colors are available. Leave a comment in the notes field during checkout asking us to email you the Sunbrella color options if you'd like a color other than black, or just let us know the color if you already know which one you want.
2. **NOTE: Bimini tops are too large to ship via UPS/FedEx and must ship by truck, which runs $179.00 to most contiguous US addresses. You must choose FREIGHT SHIPPING at checkout. ORDERS THAT DO NOT HAVE FREIGHT SHIPPING SELECTED AT CHECKOUT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. (READ: Ignore the default "free shipping" and choose Freight for the shipping method during checkout.**
3. Leave a comment in the notes field during checkout letting us know your boat's year, make, and model as well as whether you have a Series 1 or 2 tower if you know which one you have. (If you don't, we'll contact you to confirm.)
4. Please note: All bimini tops are custom made-to-order and therefore are not cancellable nor returnable. We do, of course, stand behind everything we sell.
